Satoru Andy Ando (CEO & Founder)
Satoru "Andy" Ando is founder and CEO of Gephyro Consulting. His 25+ years of business experience includes working with organizations of all sizes to improve their operational efficiency through integrating IT.
Andy is fluent in both Japanese and English and specializes in being a liaison to engage with companies at the executive level, helping them to strategize and move initiatives forward for Japanese and U.S. companies.
Throughout his career, Andy has brought hands-on, in depth experience across a wide variety of industries including global trading, manufacturing, education, food distribution, real estate, and aerospace, working with world leaders to bring forth global economic growth.
Prior to establishing Gephyro Consulting in Dallas, Andy worked in both Japan and New York. He served as President and CEO of Sumisho Computer Systems USA, Inc (a Japanese multinational IT Corporation). In this role, he successfully improved business unit profitability, expanded each business into new areas including: business process transformation, IT strategic outsourcing, systems management, and SAP ERP implementation.
In these roles, He found it critical to nurture business relationships and act as a strategic advisor to his clients' corporate direction & business process improvement goals.
Andy works tirelessly to support Japanese companies in the DFW Area as well as discovering local American companies. He manages businesses with new endeavors, and helps companies expand in the U.S. He also serves as an advisor to corporate officers in the U.S.
Moreover, he also actively takes part in public community engagement, such as filling the role of chairman for the Commerce Division of the Dallas Japanese Association.
